Edgie is currently in a closed beta test: a small circle of invited people uses it, it is free, and it may change or work with interruptions. These texts describe how the app works today; a legal review has not been done yet.

What this app is

Edgie helps you plan personal spending. It is not a bank, a payment service, or an investment or financial adviser. Calculations are based on data you enter yourself and may be inaccurate.

Closed beta test

Edgie is currently in a closed beta test. It is free. Features may change, disappear or contain errors, and data may be lost. While you use the beta, keep important records somewhere else.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for your decisions about money. Do not use the app as the only basis for major financial decisions.

Account

Keep your password secret. One account is one person. You can delete the account at any time in settings.

Acceptable use

Do not try to hack the service, overload it with requests, use someone else’s account or enter other people’s data without the owner’s consent.

Paid features

The app is free right now and payments in it are switched off. If some features become paid, we will show the terms (price, period, cancellation through Apple) before purchase and add them here.

Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of calculation accuracy or uninterrupted operation. We try to keep data safe and make backups, but we do not promise that data will not be lost. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses from using the app.

Changes to the service and the terms

We may change, suspend or close the beta service and accounts, with prior notice (in the app or by email). The terms may also change; the current version is always on this page.

Governing law

Governing law: the law of the operator’s country — to be confirmed [to be filled in by the owner].
